Free Employment Law Support PDF Print E-mail

Nannytax provides prompt and professional advice from a team of solicitors specialising in UK employment law to all our clients as an integral part of our service. But did you know that we also extend this service - free of charge - to all nanny agencies recommending our services?

This entitles you to unlimited use of the Nannytax Legal Advice Line for queries relating to your own employees (not nannies or nanny employers). We would encourage you to make as much use of this service as you need to manage your employment relations effectively. If you are unsure whether a course of action you propose has any legal implications or not, then please call the advice line to find out.

If you require clarification or advice about any employment issue - other than payroll - your first port of call should be the Nannytax Legal Advice Line on 0870 238 4545.

Please note that all advice on pay-related issues should still be obtained from the Nannytax payroll team on 0845 226 2203. If you are not sure which service to use - e.g. maternity leave advice has both payroll and employment law aspects - then please call Nannytax first and we will advise you to call Nannytax Legal if appropriate. Any general enquiries should be obtained from the Agency Advice Line on 0845 226 2205.

The Nannytax Legal team of fully qualified solicitors and barristers who specialise in UK employment law are available 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday.

Please note that the legal advice is only available for queries related to your own staff. You cannot receive advice on behalf of your clients or nannies.

If you would like to find out more about legal support, just one of the many advantages of working with Nannytax, please contact Kirsty Wild on 0845 226 2204 or by sending an email to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

Industry thoughts on the Ofsted register
The voluntary aspect of the Ofsted Childcare register (vOCR) has received many complaints since its introduction: it is too expensive; it's confusing; there is no incentive for the nannies to register; it lulls parents into a false sense of security...
